Jack Stilgoe, a Lecturer in Social Studies of Science at UCL, approached us to produce a short animation about geoengineering that would be used to promote his new book: Experiment Earth.

Geoengineering is the process of deliberately changing earth’s climate. At present, it’s just a concept, so the challenge was to highlight some of the possibilities and potential dangers of this theoretical technology.

We worked closely with Jack to understand and accurately represent some aspects of the process whilst abstractly illustrating others.
